Privacy, in plain language.

Affiiate helps people share professional information intentionally. We collect the information needed to authenticate members, publish profiles, operate permanent QR links, provide aggregate activity, process payments, prevent abuse, and answer support requests. We do not sell personal information.

Information you provide

Members provide a Google account identity, name, email address, workspace details, profile text, professional links, theme choices, team invitations, and support messages. Published profile information is public at the profile URL you choose to share.

Views, clicks, and device information

When someone opens a public profile or follows a profile link, Affiiate records the event time, profile, selected link, limited referrer and country information when available, and a short-lived abuse-prevention key. Affiiate presents aggregate views and clicks to workspace members; it does not reveal a visitor’s identity to them.

Authentication, billing, and support

Google handles customer sign-in. Stripe handles payment methods, checkout, subscriptions, invoices, and the billing portal; Affiiate stores Stripe identifiers and entitlement status but not card numbers. Cozable receives verified support requests and approved product context. SendGrid delivers transactional email and receives delivery, bounce, and unsubscribe events.

How we use and share information

We use information to provide and secure Affiiate, enforce plan limits, communicate about accounts and payments, answer support requests, diagnose reliability, comply with law, and improve the product. We share it with service providers only for those purposes or when legally required.

Cookies and sessions

Affiiate uses a secure, HTTP-only session cookie after Google sign-in. It is necessary to keep members signed in and is not used for advertising. Stripe and Google may set their own cookies on their services under their policies.

Retention and deletion

Raw profile activity is retained according to plan limits while access is active: 7 days for Spark, 90 days for Glow, and 365 days for Swarm. Security, billing, support, and audit records may be kept longer when needed for legal, fraud-prevention, and accounting purposes. Closing a workspace unpublishes profiles and revokes sessions immediately; account data is scheduled for deletion after 30 days, subject to records we must retain.

Your choices

Members can edit or unpublish profiles, cancel subscriptions in Stripe, remove teammates, sign out, and close eligible workspaces from Account settings. You may request access, correction, export, or deletion by emailing support@affiiate.com. We will verify the request before acting.

Security and children

Affiiate uses encrypted transport, managed cloud identity, least-privilege database access, signed provider webhooks, and audited administrative actions. No service can promise perfect security. Affiiate is intended for professional networking and is not directed to children under 13.
